Taking over the street in front of Yinka Shonibare’s monumental artwork ‘RA Family Album’ wrapping the building while it was being redeveloped, we created a summer street party. Tapping into hidden aspects of the RA and tapping into networks often overlooked, artists from the Royal Academy Schools, Yinka Shonibare’s Guest Projects residencies, and the Brazen Bunch Collective hosted installations, performances and activities on the day.
