Royal Academy: Architecture Programme 2003 – present

From architectural debates or symposiums to immersive events and arts festivals, I enjoy bringing people and ideas together for an experience.

In my role of Head of Architecture, I have been responsible for the Architecture Programme that encompasses a variety of events, new commissions and curated displays. From lectures by leading international architects and multidisciplinary panel events, to poetry readings and immersive musical experiences, the Programme consistently pushes boundaries and inspires fresh thinking.

Upcoming events I am curating include:

Experiencing Architecture – Inviting Dialogue
21 & 22 April, 2018
The title Experiencing Architecture: Inviting Dialogue is both a reflection of the event’s intention and the belief that a meaningful experience of architecture is one that results in a reciprocal and evolving relationship with the spaces we inhabit. This event comprises two parts: one an evening of experiential encounter in Walmer Yard, the other a symposium in the Life Room of the Royal Academy.
